EMGuidance scripts are 100% legally compliant for up to schedule 6 medications. No hard copy is required for these digital scripts. Scripts are fully traceable.
We do prescribe certain schedule 5 medications. Medications such as benzodiazepines are only prescribable for 1 month maximum every 6 months for a patient (chronic benzodiazepine use needs proper in-person monitoring). We can only give an emergency supply of antipsychotic medications as these medications require proper in-person monitoring. We do not prescribe Isotretinoin due to potential severe adverse effects.
Our policy is that we are not prescribing schedule 6 items as those medications require proper in-person doctor assessments. Our telemedicine doctors can give emergency short course schedule 6 prescriptions if absolutely required (one emergency prescription every 6 months for a patient).
Monday to Friday: 7am – 8pm
Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays: 7am – 2pm
There is no extra infrastructure required. Patients can consult using their own mobile device or your pharmacy nurse or pharmacist may consult on behalf of a patient using the pharmacy mobile device. Patients can consult from home and get their script sent directly to your pharmacy.
Please contact us via email if you would like to host health screening campaigns for your pharmacy with Whatsup Doc.
